China!

What do we know about a country and its people? How might a family living in another country be similar to or different from our own? These are fascinating questions to ponder.

The first kites were made in China of silk and bamboo. As part of our science this term, we shall look at the workings of kites and attempt to make them in class. What does a kite need to be able to fly well? Let's find out! 

This term, we will be exploring China. We will learn something about its geography and the cultural characteristics of the Chinese people. Last year, our excursion to Chatswood was a memorable learning experience (see the short video we made).
