From STEM to STEAM.

Classes studying heat have now had the opportunity to see close-up the model steam engine in operation.

Some of us had particular tasks: oiling moving parts; pouring water into the boiler; lighting the fire; watching the pressure gauge; blowing the whistle; turning on the steam valve; emptying the receptacle for waste water and oil; calling out the voltage produced by the generator.
